PressenzaCalera de Tango, 19/11/09The Calera de Tango centre works with youngsters who have committed a criminal act, and who, due to their young age; are sent to serve their prison sentence in SENAME detention centres. The monitors and instructors of these young people agreed to involve and make them part of the World March for Peace and Non-violence, which resulted in a mural decorating a local school wall; on which they expressed their ideas about peace.
The painting of this mural coincides with the painting of the huge Wall for Peace in the commune of Peñalolén, involving the participation of 700 muralists and graffiti artists from Chile and other countries.
